Perfect .My strat hhad three springs but it was always on floating, I added one of them and the tremolo lands back flush on top of the guitar. This plus a roller string tree solved all tuning problems ,used to go out of tune a lot before

Good replacement
I changed springs in my electric guitar Cort G260 with this babies and i must say that this springs are great. Now tremolo is not so loose as before and tuning has improved also. On first day they make some unwanted noises but after some playing noise was gone. Probably because they were brand new. Would recommend.

Goldo spring
bought this along with a load of harley benton 11 and 10 gauge strings, obviously, switching from 9s to 11s on a stratocaster you usually need at least one extra spring. These are very cheap, they aren't the same length as an american deluxe stratocaster springs, so if you are planning on mixing these with standard american stratocaster springs then make sure to have them set up symmetrically, ie don't have one of these springs on one side and a standard on the other. Have this one central, or buy two and have these at the edges and put the standard ones in the middle.
Also noticed now my guitar reverberates a lot more when unplugged, the 4 springs act like an on board reverb unit.
I don't believe springs affect tone, I do however believe that a rubbish one will affect your tuning stability, this is fine on an american deluxe stratocaster, no better or worse than the normal springs.

Great value product.
Works great with the original style of trem....good point from the reviewer who advises to keep them balanced with existing springs if you are adding them in...
Personally I like at least four in place and don't float the bridge allowing just little shimmers downward so these are ideal for me...and I keep a few spares to play around with..

Can't go wrong.
I ordered a few and found them to be equal and consistent in quality. The tension is enough for Floyd Rose style bridges too since you an always add a spring or attach them at an angle.

They worked perfectly fine in my Harley Benton Red Special replica.
I found these are thinner than the ones on a Jackson Guitar, be aware.

Not too stiff in action, well made and priced
These are very good value and not too stiff, so my Strat's tremolo has a nice smooth action with just 3 or 4 fitted (depending on the gauge of strings I'm using).
