Ich habe mir den Koffer mit den Klangbausteinen für Musikworkshops in Erziehungs- und Bildungseinrichtungen angeschafft. Ein Set mit allen Halbtönen um u.a. auch verschiedene Klangwirkungen von Skalen nutzen zu können in einer sauberen Transportlösung ist genau das, was ich für meine mobilen Einsätze gesucht habe.

Toll, dass alle Klangbausteine spielbereit im Koffer angeordnet sind und sich der Deckel des Koffers ganz leicht abnehmen lässt. Die 25 beiliegenden Kunststoff-Schlägel sind mehr als genug und erzeugen auf den Metallplatten sehr angenehme nicht zu lang nachklingende und trotzdem schon brauchbar dynamisch spielbare Töne. Ich empfinde gerade auch die Einschwingphase der Klangbausteine als sehr klar und präzise. Die akustischen Verzerrungen in den Klangbeispielen zum Produkt sind mir life kaum aufgefallen nur im gleichzeitigen Zusammenspiel benachbarter Töne oder z.B. bei Tritons-Intervallen.
Die Resonanzkörper der Bausteine sind aus Kunststoff und haben je eine Breite von 35mm. Im Spiel miteinander entsteht ein relativ ausgewogenes Klangbild aller Töne zueinander. Vermutlich sind dafür auch die unterschiedlich ausgeführten Resonanzöffnungen unter den Klangplatten verantwortlich.
Einzeln auf einem ebenen harten Untergrund gestellt kippeln einige der Bausteine allerdings etwas (daher ein Stern Abzug bei der Verarbeitung). Mit einem Filzdeckchen oder Handtuch darunter, fällt das aber nicht mehr sonderlich auf und tut der Spielfreude keinen Abbruch.
