Good looking and functional

So, I got this for my Ibanez Iceman (IC300) makeover. The guitar is 18 years old and its hardware was pretty much destroyed from years of use; bridge was completely corroded from the sweat. The original hardware was chrome on black guitar, but I decided to go with gold.
The bridge is very nicely machined, very detailed, without any sharp edges. The gold finish is superbly done and although it will get easily stained by fingerprints it is easy to clean. The screws have plastic washers on both sides which I think is a nice feature to keep intonation setting smooth.
There are two things worth noting, not necessarily bad but it might make you thing again when choosing the bridge. This bridge has intonation screws facing pickups, which might be problematic on some guitar, luckily on Iceman this works. Second, bridge height screws have continuous thread, original Ibanez bridge had thread stopping at the exact height of the bridge, this made sure screw would never stick outside of the bridge. With Gotoh, you first need to roughly find the bridge height you need, then set the screw height to that desired level and then again install bridge and fine tune it. This way you make sure that bridge height screw will not stick out, which might make playing rather uncomfortable. Aside from this, this bridge is excellent product, I recommend it especially for Ibanez guitars. My Iceman looks like very expensive guitar now, mostly thanks to Gotoh gold hardware...
Important: make sure you match the bridge with fretboard radius. 2002 Iceman neck fretboard is 400mm in radius, newer models are 300mm.
