The BEASTS of my HOME STUDIO !
Do studio monitor stands matter? Truly YES! In the Age of DIY production/mixing/mastering (bed-)rooms, as we try to keep unnecessary reflections out of our signal and monitoring paths for an uncolored sound. Monitors/Speakers on stands have a few advantages over floor/table standing brothers: apart from eliminating front wall & table reflections and thus minimizing comb filtering, it also minimizes diffractions and has a bass boost of 4-6 dB in the region below 200 Hz, that would usually radiate (diffract) to the back of floor standing speakers, making it a more efficient monitor. Your neck, shoulders, and back will also see the benefits of this control as you will be in a position self-designed for your comfort and convenience (!). Gravity SP 3202 Studiomonitor Stand features a heavy, triangular base made of cast iron and a 25x25 cm steel tray with isolating foam rests. These ensure effective coupling to the floor. If you have a cat - you can be calm in case she jumps out - your monitors will not fall down! 30 kg load capacity. It is tilt-adjustable by 10°(!) and height-adjustable from 90 to 150 cm for optimum speaker positioning. Very easy to control. I am happy with them! 😅

Fantastic Speaker stands
I recently bought 2 Gravity SP 3202 Studiomonitor Stands for my Genelec speakers. I am so happy I chose to buy these ones. They are rock solid - they not wiggle. My speakers are around 25 KG so it is perfect for these stands. For me they are the perfect stands in my home studio.

Very strong in mid height
As good as expected. Sturdy and safe but with a tiny -insignificant almost- wobbling in maximum height.

Great, heavy but arrived with a bend on one of the supporting plates
Heavy base, should have the point of the triangle the same direction as the face of the speaker. One arrived with a bent plate (underneath the larger plate) but that was bent back into shape with a little brute force and didn't really affect the top plate.
My larger speakers (KRK 8s) are very stable and will return to upright with a reasonable wobble.

Bought these to replace my Millenium stands which I was unsatisfied with (they were not the same height)...
Wow! What a difference these stands are compared to the Millenium ones. These are much higher quality and seem to have been thought out well. They are easy to assemble, look good and feel sturdy. The base plate is also really nicely made. There is no wobble or rattle in these as is in the Millenium's.

Nothing more you can ask for
The stand is incredibly sturdy and stable and has some nice to have configuration and safety features:
-The base is heavy metal (\m/) so even if you jiggle the stand by mistake the monitor will most probably stay where it is.
-The platform on which the monitor stands has a border on the front, which fixes the monitor.
-The rod has holes on several heights and a bolt for taking all the weight; this removes the pressure on the locking screw.
-The locking screws are easy to use (you don't need screwdrivers) and very ergonomical (you cannot hurt yourself while doing the adjustments).
-The stand looks very nice, it matches any environment.
I have two such pairs, one for the monitors in the studio and one for the monitors from my personal computer, and I'm very glad I have them. I totally recommend them.

Stable and well constructed stand
This is a studio monitor stand, but not a regular one.
Clearly they put a lot of thought on every bit of it making it super easy to assemble, very well constructed and solid.
At first, I thought the upper part of the arm would be a bit wobbly but all I had to do was to tighten up the hand screw and no more wiggles.
What I like the most about it is the pin that holds the stand in height you want but still allows you to rotate it as needed. After done that, screw tight the hand screw and you are done.
The plate is a bit on the big side for small studio monitor as mine Yamaha HS5, but can be used no problem.
If you have small studio monitors like me, think of it as an incentive to upgrade to bigger speakers.

Gravity SP 3202
good design, no stagger, large adjustment height, large platform, solid base. I think these are the best speaker stands.
p. s. even taking into account the delivery of $ 40, the price is 2 times cheaper than in Russia.
