Gretsch Drums 14"x6,5" Walnut Gloss Snare

I spent a good 5 months researching snares within my budget.
I definitely wanted a wood snares and was worried the mahogany would be too dark, but, this snare drum is the absolute perfect balance of tone, versatility, resonance, pitch, decay and looks. It holds it's tuning so far perfectly and I didn't even replace the heads that came with it yet.
