You are much better off using a strip of foam or felt

Too thick to slide under the strings.
There is a piece of hards plastic inside of this Gruvgear fretwedge that is very likely to scratch the finish when you try to place it under the strings

Very disappointed - you are much better off using a strip of foam or felt (you can take replacement felt cloth being sold for wiping down a whiteboard).

Ganz nett, aber keine Empfehlung

Ich spiele sehr viel Kram in High Gain Settings und die FretWedges tun natürlich das, wofür sie bestimmt sind. Es ist nun auch wahrlich keine Raketenwissenschaft.
Bisher hattee ich mir mit einem zurechtgeschnittenen Stückchen Pyramidenschaum beholfen. Das löste sich nach einigen Jahren nun aber zunehmend auf oder verlor den Halt und ich bin ein großer Freund von dauerhaften Lösungen.
Der Preis für die FretWedges ist allerdings einfach nur frech. Es ist Schaum mit einer Plastikhaube und ein paar Fusseln darauf. Wenn das jetzt bis an mein Lebensende hält, ist es gerade noch okay.
Davon gehe ich allerdings nicht aus. Habe, faul wie ich bin, natürlich zuerst versucht, das Ding mit etwas Gewalt unter die Saiten zu schieben, ohne diese vorher zu lockern... da löste sich auch schon an der ersten Ecke der Schaumstoff ab, ohne dass ich mich allzusehr bemüht hätte.
In Zukunft also bei jedem Saitenwechsel gleich zu Beginn dran denken oder alles aufziehen, stimmen und dann ärgern.
Oder doch noch einmal in die Restekiste mit dem Pyramidenschaum greifen...
Nun ja, zuletzt noch ein Pluspunkt: Wenn man es "ordentlich" mag, ist das hier natürlich eine optisch elegantere Lösung als viele DIY-Methoden. Aber die beste Lösung? Mit Sicherheit nicht.

Installation un peu périlleuse mais très efficace

Un outil vraiment super pratique, les résonnances indésirables disparaissent, par contre il faut l'installer avec les cordes complètement détendues sinon impossible à installer (enfin c'était le cas sur mes modèles de guitares)

Fais bien son travail

Installation un peu plus compliqué que prévu, il faut vraiment détendre à fond les cordes.
Après installation, on n'entend plus du tout la résonance métallique sur de la grosse disto en attaquant fort les cordes.
Le produit fait bien son travail.
