Gives a decent introduction to blues guitar

the book is easily readable, with very good notations.

It does require a basc understanding of readign tabs as well as a certain leel of familiarity with the music in the book in order to learn anything, which means tha you should have a decent knowledge of blues as a genre if you want to learn from this book.

Das Blues Guitar Method ist - wie eigentlich alle anderen (ich hab auch das Jazz-Heft) Hefte von Hal Leonard wirklich zu empfehlen. Und zwar nicht nur für Blueser sondern auch für Rocker.
Man lernt im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes spielend leicht amtliche Riffs und Licks - eine Empfehlung nicht nur für Anfänger. Nachdem ich es für mich gekauft habe, habe ich es inzwischen schon ein paar mal verschenkt.

Wer des Englischen halbwegs mächtig ist und sich dem Blues zugeneigt fühlt (die entsprechenden Fähigkeiten aber noch auf- oder ausbauen möchte) hat hier etwas absolut wertvolles gefunden. Das Buch hat einen wirklich guten didaktischen Aubau und die unabdingbare Lehr-CD. Ideal für Blues-fremde um mal "hinein zu schnuppern".
