For people with the blues
This kit is easy & a lot of fun to put together. It will not sound crystal clear but that is not what you expect from an instrument of this kind. If a dirty blues sound is what you want this is a great addition to you guitar set. It's also educational & you will be able to say you built a guitar yourself! Recommended.

Nice Kit
The kit is already assembled, but I really enjoyed jamming on the Blues Box.
Plugged in, it sounds ok, nothing really special, but it will do :-)
Its a promise to keep you busy for hours and hours.
The cd is very helpfull as well.
The only thing I think they could do better, is make a wooden box.
The box is made out of hard plastic unfortunately.

Great musical learning for the buck
To be honest I bought this instrument for fun but within a few hours it became a very valuable lesson in using my ear to intonate whilst playing. I have tried to learn the slide guitar on my real guitar but never got that hang of it. This instrument is just so adorably simple that you actually can not keep away from it and thru that I have learned so much about pitching correct while playing slide. And now I can actually play acceptable slide on my guitar. I am honestly surprised over this little instrument.

Very nice "paper-box" slide-guitar
Definitely not a professional gear, but it has a very nice roots-blues tone (especially after connecting to an amp)
