Yes, it's cheap, but here's the thing: you'll need to buy a set of good pickups because these pickups are terrible ($300), so that's already $550. Then, you'll absolutely need to fix an the frets because some will be sticking out, and other will buzz, and that's another $250 for the luthier service (actual real quotation given to me for fixing up this guitar), and now you're looking at a $800 bill. This guitar doesn't have single coil splitting, so if you want that (like almost all the more expensive guitars have) you'll need to buy the electronics $50, and pay around $150 for this service as well, and now this $250 guitar costs you $1000 already, and it's not even a cool and expensive brand. In the end, you'll end up with a cheap brand guitar that costed you ~$1000-$1200. For this money, you could already get everything included right from the factory, perfectly done, with great pickups and electronics, and a cool brand name on it, maybe even made in Korea instead of China.
