Guitar plays well but electronic issues after 3 months
So far I really enjoy playing this bass - it has a great variety of sounds, looks great and is very well built. However...
This week the active circuitry has stopped working - tried new batteries but when the active button is pulled out (to turn on) you literally can no longer tell the difference between passive and active. I've contacted Thomann but they seem very slow to respond - I've sent them videos (no acknowledgement)and it looks like the bass will have to be returned for repair or possible replacement. I think the prices on Thomann are good but when things go wrong they seem to take an age to respond - is it worth sticking to UK guitar shops?
Edit: after having a phone conversation Thomann have agreed to refund the bass and I have agreed to purchase another model (more expensive)
