Good Quality for working guitar
Ok so you could indeed go for the "well know" brand of coated strings and certainly I have done so for many years.. but I decided to try out the HB ones as a throw away project to see if they could work... well, well, pleasantly surprised... If like me you want to have the new string sound last for a decent length of time I think you will find that these do the job nicely. Good bang for the buck no doubt.

Good for price
We play in humid Malta, and I have sweaty hands. These strings are the strings to use when changing strings often and yet save on expenses. If I'm recording or have a particularly important gig I may use Elixir as my go to brand, but these are a third of the price (don't provide 80/20 bronze which is unfortunate to be honest), sound mellower (phosphore bronze) and last enough. There has been a time these didn't last long on our guitars and that's a bummer. I hope Thomann sorted this quality issue. Recently they have been fine. The plain strings tend to rust a bit, and feel as if the string is rougher kin of needs polishing(?) in a way so I'm pointing that out, but overall thumbs up...Forget coated brands like Martin, Tanglewood, D'addario...bang for buck these are great.

p
really great for the price
They play really great. I use them for Eb personally and the tension is perfect for me. The strings are individualy packed which comes with a lot of plastic which is a bit annoying. Overall great strings, more worth the money than the expensive brands

Great strings for beginners to advanced
I needed to buy some guitar strings for a young guitar student and decided to bulk buy some strings while he is still learning and also teach him to restring his guitar.
I was quite impressed by the sound of them, did what they were suppose to and sounded great.
Before a recording one day I ran out of strings and used these on a maton and still sounded great!

Review of Harley Benton Coated Phosphor 011 Acoustic guitar strings
Harley Benton Coated Phosphor 011 Acoustic guitar strings are cheap but very decent coated strings Ive had a set on for at least 2 months and they are still not rusty yet so if you want more or less the same but cheaper buy these.
