Amazing pedal. if you have a low output guitar, like a strat, this will definitely make it sound metal.

I use the original setting for my ST62MN VW, and that's enough to make it sound metal. I feel extra and ultra give it a very bassy fuzz-like tone, so it's definitely a flexible pedal. the built in noise gate is absolutely amazing for eliminating hum. you do have to configure the tone knobs quite a bit to get a "desired" sound, but it's a pretty resistant knob so it won't be disturbed and changed by a hit or something which is great. keep in mind the noise gate does have a slight hissing noise, but that's just how noise gates work most of the time. other than that, absolutely recommend

Zunächst der B Kanal: absoluter Hammer. Man kriegt sehr flexible Distortion Sounds aus ihm raus, es erinnert mich stark an die Sounds des Boss DS-2. Ehrlich gesagt ist das Tonspektrum im Vergleich sogar etwas größer, man kriegt, wenn man das möchte, sehr schrille, höhenbetonte Sounds, gleichzeitig ist auch ein fetter leicht fuzziger Metalsound für die Rythmusgitarre drin. Auch mit etwas weniger Gain mach der Kanal ziemlich Spaß, wobei der Klang hier etwas zum Matschen neigt. Aber die Highgain Sounds sind wirklich sauber und mehr als brauchbar!

Der A-Kanal leistet auch gute Dienste und eliminiert Recht zuverlässig störende Nebengeräusche und Rauschen, auch wenn ich hier eher das Gefühl habe, dass alles etwas grob und kantik abgeschnitten wird. Wer das Pedal primär als silencer verwenden möchte, sollte wohl eher eine Alternative suchen.

Der kann markant bis giftig!

Das Noisegate ist sehr einfach zu bedienen und makellos in seiner Funktion.
Der Zerrer ist etwas speziell, für mich genau richtig!
Die Tonregelung geht zusammen mit der Gaineinstellung von Overdrive
bis richtig giftig Metalmäßig.

Trying to get a clean sound from this pedal is hard unless you bypass it.
In other words, even at minimum distortion and a humbucker turned 50% down the pedal is still quite dirty. With gain follows noise, so the noise gate comes in handy and works fine. I prefer to put it in front of the drive but putting it after can be done by flicking a switch. Original, Extra and Ultra settings available. So a lot of functionality at a low price. Whether you like the actual distortion flavour is up to you. I find it usable.
