These comes drenched in something that I can only describe as oil of rabies! Pure isopropanol will not wipe it off. Get it on your fingers - soap will not wash it off. You have to smear your hands in butter or some other oil and then wash many times. On top of that the tools has very sharp edges that can cut your finger or certainly scratch up your finish. I wouldn't let this come anywhere near my guitar.

Missing .022 guide
Action from hell 11.03.2023
My gauge was missing .022 but instead had double .019 gauges. I just happened to need that missing .022, so this is most annoying.

Welcome to grease town
Kelgore 29.08.2023
I know they would probably have stains, corrode or what ever but a 10 year supply of greasiest liquid known to man is not needed to be contained in the bag.
Washed my hands 7 times after I took them out and I am still having nightmares about the feeling.
Didn't even want to use them afterwards.

Covered in oil
Simon BB 03.11.2024
The feeler gauges themselves are fine but they arrived covered in oil inside the small pouch. Totally bizarre, took me a while to clean and now they're discoloured and pretty much unusable. V cheap so not a big deal, but can't recommend.

Greasy

This tool is straight from a auto repair shop. It is fully soaked in grease. What am I supposed to do with such a greasy tool, to use it on a musical instrument? Don't think so. Totally useless if you are not willing to de-grease a hell load of useless thickness gauges.
