Solid accessory for practicing fingers strenght
Karr 03.02.2019
This little buddy is built well and the padding makes holding easy and stable. I think that the buttons are quite hard to push, even with adjusting, but maybe it's just my fingers.

From minor cons i would want to notice that buttons started to squeak after week of using - BUT- it's really unnoticable, especially when you train and do something else. Also it doesn't affect usability in any way.

If you have some time in work, during transporting to job, school, etc or simply struggling with guitar techniques it's a cool accessory - if not for real training, then surely for pumping some blood in fingers right before playing ;)

A very handy gadget
Anonymous 10.02.2015
I ordered this not really expecting much, after all it is only just over £3.
I was really impressed with the quality and the comfort of the grips.
Each individual peg has a resistance control, however the range of resistance from fully off to fully on is not massive. But to be honest its not a shortcoming that spoils the finger trainer.
The quality of the plastics and the silicone moldings on the peg tips and the base of the unit are far better than its low price suggests.
I would fully recommend this a "no brainer" add on to any order you are making.
The level of service and the speed of getting my order from Germany to Northern Ireland was also impressive. I will certainly be using Thomann again

As an update I bought a second one of these for my son as the first finger trainer was such a good job. Great product and a great price.

Fine trainer, but not very strong.
GrooveMaker 24.12.2023
I bought this to reach the free shipping limit, but I was not disappointed by the quality.

I've used trainers like this in the past, but lost mine ages ago. This one works fine. I like using different finger patterns to train my fingers and the device is stable enough to allow me to to do. The base it solid and it doesn't slide off my hand.

My only issue is that the resistance it provides isn't very strong in my opinion. This may be because my hands are already too strong for de device or because it's just a bit weak. Unfortunately I have nothing to compare it with anymore. Regardless, it keeps my fingers in shape, which is really all I care about.

Fine purchase for the price.

I would get the pricier one
Louemetal 14.09.2021
This is just okay, but the adjustments are not as wide as in pricier models. The levers can also feel a bit stuck and not slide properly.
Still a good budget option.

Cheap and cheerful - and good
Anonymous 01.09.2015
I bought this on a whim along with other necessary items. I recently moved from electric guitar to bass and need to work my pinky finger, which has been largely neglected over 20+ years of jamming.

The adjustable tension makes quite a difference, and even on the minimum it is enough for me for now.

It is a comfortable tool to use, even lacking contours. The rubber pads allow you to hold it without dropping it, and are soft enough for comfort.

The only thing I'd like to see are some instructions, perhaps with some exercise patterns, although it's not difficult to work out how this works.

It will work those fingers.
Langerdan 11.05.2014
I bought this on an impulse, wasn't sure if these things did anything or not, but it quickly showed me how week and feeble my fingers are. Adjusting the resistance is impossible though, turned the knobs and I'm not sure I could feel a difference, but overall I'm happy with it and if I lost it I'd probably get the same one again.

Unbeatable value but not perfect
PhilEL 03.02.2024
For the price you can't beat this but I can't feel a difference when adjusting the resistance (supposedly). It seems quite well-made. As a trumpeter I would have preferred a bit less resistance but I think regular use will build up strength.

Ive been recovering from a broken left hand and bought this to build my strength back up.
The tension adjusters dont seem to do much but it works well apart from that.
The grey bit on the bottom is rubberised and makes it very comfortable to hold.

works good - sits on the coffee table. i use it for dexterity training and my wife uses it for training for rock climbing! dual purpose ;) you would be surprised how much having strong fingers help with vibrato! (you need it if youre going to be playing SRV)
