M
nice to look at, but not well build
MandyK 21.02.2014
This was my first guitar with steel strings. I hadn´t much money, so i decided to give it a try with that very fairly priced guitar.
When i first played it, i was amazed how "brilliant" the sound was. I didn´t expected that.
The Quality didn´t feel very good, but for a first look it was ok.

After the first 3 months, i had to change the strings - that was the first time, when i wasn´t happy at all. I really had to fight, to bring the plastic-nipples back into the ridge (web) with my new strings.
That took some time. Had to do it again, a couple of month later, and it was the same trouble again. After the seccond string change, the mechanics (where you adjust the tuning) more or less dissolved itself, so i had to find better screws to fix it agin.

Sometimes i had little problems with de-tuning.

I would not buy it again, in case of troubles with the quality. The Sound is good enough!

a
Surprisingly good at that price
andrejgr 14.06.2016
I don't expect a lot from an instrument that sells at around 50?. But I have to admit, I played many much more expensive instruments up to 4 times that price, that with fit and finish didn't come close to this one.

Neck setup is very good, shape very playable and again I have a guitar, that I will object, if it gets hurt on a party...no matter the price. And I bought it just because I wanted an instrument, that i'm not sorry for...for a price of two shipping charges from Thomann. Just crazy...

Soundwise I can not compare it to my other guitars but then again those are serious instruments and up to twenty times more expensive... but playability is right on the spot.

After few months, this guitar holds it's own great. Very playable, just don't expect too much of a sound, when strummed.

000 size for pennies
Neil M. 26.08.2014
A great entry level guitar that plays straight out of the box. The body was well finished and gold plated tuners work well. The fret edges are a bit sharp and I needed to tweak the truss rod to get the action down, but for the money you can't complain. It has a nice mid range tone for finger-picking and strumming and is an essential guitar for practising in the house or studio, I would compare this to a £200 guitar for quality and finish.

I wanted to like this guitar
ZiltoidTheOmniscient 27.06.2018
A lot of people were saying in the reviews that it was a great deal for the price. I guess that's true, but the sound and playability are really not that great, and I couldn't recommend this guitar to someone looking for a first guitar. I'd rather point them to their local classifieds section for a decent second-hand model, which is what I'll be doing soon.

Acoustic Guitar

This Guitar Is Ok, At a fraction of the price of some beginners guitars. Only fault really is its very light and neck heavy but what do you expect for around £40.00...This guitar is good enough for beginners, especially kids who play a little then get fed up, Its sounds ok, As a guitar teacher I would recommend these as a beginners instrument.
Thomann again were second to none, delivered and tracked within 5 days....fantastic

Ok for it's price

This is a very low price but in my opinion you'dd better spend a little more for something like a richwood.
Even for a beginner because u might get frustrated why you have troubles moving around on the neck or pressing the strings (the action is very high set on this).

Good for slide
JamesF 12.03.2014
Nice light weight small bodied guitar at a good price. Not much bass response which is to he expected.Action is a bit high but this makes it quite good for slide in open tuning.Probable wouldn't gig it but for home use and recording it should hold up fine
