Not a bad place to start
It's a beautiful looking instrument!
It plays okay, some fun buzzy noises on various frets. Anything around the 12th fret sounds a little tinny. Decent tone for the price.
If you're looking for a place to start, it isn't bad. You could learn a few things and save on the cost of an amp upfront.
I picked this up as something to have in the car for the odd impromptu acoustic jams and it's been decent for that.
Tuner and pick up are nice to have, wouldn't want to be relying on the tuner too much, however.
When I've gone into my amp, in fairness, it sounds pretty epic and much better than I expected.
Some EQ settings on there too which is kinda cool I suppose, can't say I've used em.

This bass is perfect if you are looking for basic acoustic capabilities and an entry level instrument.
The sound is somehow muffled and not as clear on all frequencies as i was expecting, the built-in tuner often doesn't "get" the E and A string when played (it does get the harmonic on the 12th fret though), and can't be played with an amp from average volumes upwards due to the hollow body being a trap for feedback.
Then again, for the price this is a good acoustic instrument that can serve as a marvelous starting point.
Perfect for beginners and for some basic rig-less playing, sort of limiting for anything beyond.

Very nice looking bass. pick ups function well enough for the price, sounds good. the only thing is a huge buzz/screeming noice on the fifth fret of each string. probably wasnt setup right.

Okay bass for beginners
It's okay for the money you pay. Nothing exceptional.
