My First Five String!

This is my FIFTH HB bass from Thomann! Ever since buying my first one I’ve been very impressed with the quality materials used and superior construction and attention to details; a real bonus on “budget” basses! This latest bass is no exception; lovely feel, smoooooth neck and fret board, deep, creamy mellow full sound., and very light for a five string. So worth then money! Another classy bass to add to the collection!

I'm a lefty and specifically wanted a P/J style 5-String bass with passive pickups and a more rounded fretboard radius rather than the more modern "flat" style fretboard.

My options were spending thousands on something completely custom, or this. This fits the bill and its actually amazing!

The Low-B tuning gear can't hold the tension of the string so I'll replace the gear on that. Otherwise everything is perfect! I'm impressed!

Na lang zoeken naar een PJ bas was dit degene die ik aan wilde schaffen.
Ik heb al een HB B550 en ben daar ook zeer te spreken over
Merkte na het uitpakken van de bas dat de tuners niet de snaren goed op spanning wilde houden en heb deze vervangen
Na een paar maanden spelen besloten om er een preamp in te zetten en de snaren vervangen voor de snaren van mijn eigen keuze.
Dit maakte de bas klinkend zoals ik graag zou willen.
De speelbaarheid is geweldig
De hals speelt fijn. En de gitaar is voor een 5 snaar niet te zwaar
Al met al ben ik er zeer tevreden over en zeker voor dit geld kan je absoluut geen buil vallen.
