Worth way more than your paying!
I had basic setup done as I usually do!
This my 5th Harley Benton and I already have my eye on one more !!

Perfect introduction to 5 string bass!

My first 5 string and I couldn't be happier!

Set up was fine out of the box, no sharp fret edges or anything. Action is good and the neck smooth and accessible up to the highest fret. The P pickup purrs but has some bite if needed and J adds more clarity if you want it.

Build quality is very good and the finish is perfect. The B string is pretty solid, certainly good enough for gigging.

All in all I'm delighted with my first 5 string.

This 5 string bass is the best bass for beginners everything is amazing about it apart from the slight fret rattle that can be fixed easily with the included Alan key

Another Great HB Guitar

As usual the guitar was really well packed for delivery by Thomann.
I have never owned a 5 string bass guitar before. Previously only played 4 string basses, so this guitar is a bit of a change for me.
Virtually no issues with the guitar, except for me snapping a string while tuning up (always a pain).
However I always plan to change strings straight away, so I bought a set of D'Addarios to restring it.
The guitar played great, straight out the box. Action / intonation great.
So good, one of my friends has asked me to order him the 4 string version, with a HB 40W amp same as I have just purchased.
Thomann will be pleased with the repeat business.

Good Bass, Impressive with the sound.

HB did it again

Flawless 1st and 12th fret intonation after a setup, great sounding pickups with a hot signal, no sharp fret ends, deep black colour. How HB manages this on their budget, I have no idea.

Plays and sound good. Knobs configuration give distinct and quality sound outputs. However, the nut looks a bit weird for me. Also, the actions for all 5 strings seems a tad too low, but it seems that it's intended (I'm new to bass). There was also some very small wood debris/dust/chips on the head-stock.
