The screws screw it up
This is a good product, it really is. I wouldn't see the point in going for another brand if it weren't for the thin screws. I have tried to use these locks on one Epiphone and two Fender Squier, and have had to go back to the original strap pins as the screws don't bite in the pre-drilled holes. It would have been great if I could have used the original guitar screws with the HB locks. However, that is not possible as the holes where the screws are inserted into the locks are very narrow, and any other, wider screws than the ones provided do not fit. It really is a shame, because the locks themselves are very good as the mechanism is tight and secure fit and they have a nice finish.

Does the job, but there are better ones in the market.
They do their job, but the metal used is a little soft. This makes them very easy to damage in their installation or during normal use, in the coupling and decoupling of the guitar.
The system itself in the fastening to the strap can cause the tightening nut to easily come off. which can lead to it falling and getting lost, which is not good.
Verdict: ALL guitars to be used with a strap should include strap-locks.
These fulfill the function for a light use at home or small band rehearses, however for more regular and intensive use, I would buy more expensive, higher quality ones, to have more peace of mind in its use.

So-so
One works fine, one doesn't lock properly. OK for home use on a cheap guitar I suppose. If I get another Harley Benton I will give them another chance as they are dirt cheap and better than nothing. Would not dream of gigging with them though.

Really cheap but not perfect
You get what you pay for so they say and this is certainly true with these security locks.
Got them out the packet and bear in mind there are NO instructions so you will need to know how these work (not difficult but if it's your first time, well..).
I had to use my pliers to release one of the locks which marked the finish.
They are quite 'floppy/loose' when attached but they do work OK.
On my Les Paul I have top quality units and you can tell.
To sum up....read the first 6 words of this review.
Good for the money though.
