Promised so much
Don't like to give negative views but this guitar looked great on paper for a bargain outlay. However the sound of the pickups was uninspired in both bucker and the single coil split. But the thing that ruined it was playability, the lovely caramelised neck had 2 or 3 high spots so notes would fret out . A complete fret level was needed and I'm afraid a lot of people can't perform this so it would cost significantly more to make it as playable as it should be out of the box. Shame, as I say the specs on paper look great. I've had a lot of good experience with Harley Benton guitars so hopefully this was a one off, however it was the actual featured one they used to advertise the guitar on the website etc. So this should have been spotted.
