Harley Benton ST-Modern HSS LPB

Unfortunately mine came with a neck pocket crack and had some fret buzz even when the truss rod and bridge was tweaked. Unfortunately the buzz still remained which is frustrating. Also the frets on these seem a lot lower then my older Harley Benton’s The TE62 I’ve had for a while the frets just seem much better.

The Nut was cut really well and the rest of the fit and finish is fine no complaints. Also the neck feels really good and smooth. So it’s a bit of a mixed Bag really. If you know how to do a Fret level and crowing then this will work out very good at £150, however for me my local luthier would charge £130 which doesn’t seem worth it.

The guitar looked great out of the box and had a lot of promise, especially for the price.
Unfortunately, mine came with a faulty truss rod that couldn’t be adjusted, which made it impossible to set up the neck properly. As a result, there was noticeable fret buzz I just couldn’t get rid of, even after trying multiple adjustments.
Also frets feels really small.
In cocnclusion:
Sadly, I had to return it. Maybe I got unlucky with quality control, but it was disappointing nonetheless.
All the other things were perfect, finish is beautiful and looks are amazing. However instrument is half unplayeble
