Really let down.
I read all the reviews on this guitar as I had always loved the look of Princes mad cat, I wanted one. I read that it was well made and good quality. So I looked forward to receiving my order. When I took it out the box I was so disappointed. The faults were never ending. The flame top veneer had no flame and was patchy wood stain. The black binding was a mid grey, the only black had been badly hand painted on the top binding but only half way down the binding so there was this black tripe all around it, it was a total botch job from China. The neck was out of line and was not even over the high e pickup pole at all by the neck pickup. There were several spots were the wood stain was missing and the frets were very rough and would need a £90 fret dressing. I would also say that the neck was fat not a medium C. I have returned the guitar and am hoping that this is just a very bad one that got through. I am hoping that a high quality replacement will arrive and reinstate my faith in Thomann. I know that there are quality issues with things made in China and I trust Thomann will put it right. I hope so because I have the Mad Cat pick guard waiting along with other parts I had ordered to make it look they way it should.

very bad looks .very poor performance. made on the knee. the wood is dirty under the varnish. the edging is terrible. the neck seems to work. but I do not advise .. before the quality was much higher ..
