plays great! but had buzzing in grounding
was minor repair to replace ground wire and sand down post to get better connection. worked killer after that pretty happy with guitar overall,

Great heavy metal guitar for the price
My son was very interested in getting a heavy metal flying v guitar, but had a limited budget. We were able to visit Thomann in person and try the guitar out. The floor model played and sounded great, so we decided to buy one. The boxed guitar came set up nicely. Some other reviews indicated that fret ends were sharp and that the active pickups and a loud buzz due to the black paint preventing effective grounding, however, our guitar had none of these issues. The active pickups sound great for the value, and really give a good heavy metal sound. My son is extremely happy with this purchase and the overall quality he got from the Harley Benton brand.
