Sei einigen Jahren benutze ich die Blätter von Hartmann auf dem Bari. Besonders gut gefällt mir das HEMP. Der Ton ist rund und satt und die Ansprache in allen lagen ok. Wenn das Blatt etwas zu schwer ist, kann man es mit feinem Schmirgel leicht anschleifen und dadurch anpassen.

Verarbeitung und Ansprache sind sehr gut und der Sound ist der beste den ich kenne! Für mich sind synthetische Reeds verlässliche dauerhafte Produkte, die das ständige Kümmern um gute klingende und gut spielbare Reeds überflüssig machen. Es gibt vielleicht geringe Abstriche im Sound gegenüber herkömmlichen Reeds. Aber dies hier spiele ich jetzt schon seit Monaten. Rückkehr zu "normalen" Reeds ist bei mir mehr als ungewiss! Ich bleib vermutlich beim HEMP von Fiberreed. Es sei denn der Markt bringt noch etwas genialeres hervor!
