I selected this to buy based on positive reviews here, but my experience is mostly negative.
Good things: legs are easy to open, they are wide and sturdy,so overall the stand is very stable. That yellow part makes it highly visible under feet, so less chances to stumble onto it.
Bad things:
- upper bracket is too big for my Thomann Alto, so it swivels on one side easily. And this braket is not ment to be adjusted, unless a lot of force to be applied.
- joint of the upright arm to the bottom stand is vobbly, it easily moves back and forth in rather big range, doe not inspire overall stability
- the whole construction is rather big and heavy when folded, no chance to fit it into the sax bell on the carry case
- the carry bag is made of that sinthetic non-vowen material, which is very thin and from my experience self-distruct within 1 year.
All in all - has to return it.
