Excellent quality case. Looks fantastic too. I got it as I needed one for my Hofner bass. High quality outer finish and nice handle but the inside, though plush was let down due to lack of space for straps etc. the latches are good quality with one lockable. I feel it just looks so good it’s worth it! There are cheaper cases available but this one looks and feels like the perfect companion for you Hofner violin bass!! Very happy with my new case.

Just received my Hofner case and very pleased with it as my Ignition cavern bass fits perfectly. The case seems fairly well made but I was disappointed that the hygrometer wasn't in the lid as clearly shown in the images, although I think its probably more of a gimmick than anything but still, it would have been a nice touch.
