Screws too long, little adjustment needed
Konstant Tinnitus 03.01.2025
I bought a similar cable from an other manufacturer before which was double the price. Since this one is for a fixed installation, and doesn't need to be "road proof" opted for the more economically priced version.
I wouldn't trust the xlrs on the road for a long time but they seem to do the trick in a studio.
The biggest issue I ran into, is that the screws on the db25 stick out so far on the connector side (ca. 1cm wiggle room) that they can remain tightly screwed in while the connector is dangling in the air, no longer touching the db25 output it is connected to. I tried that on two different devices, same problem. The pricier cable i bought before did not have that issue.
The fix:
I removed the screws and wrapped some electrical wire around the round notch in the front to make it even to the thicker part of the screw for about 5-7mm. That way they cannot slide too much to the front anymore and now the screws are holding the connector in place.

7 Meter is Great!
Barry Junius 25.01.2021
Well this one in 7 meter length is incredibly helpful for you who need longer cable to plug to a quite distance mixer. Works perfectly and fell solid.

The D-Sub jack is quite plasticky, and the XLR looks a bit cheap but it's all worked just fine. Especially the price is worth of the money, absolutely recommended
