Good product for the price

This is a good quality sanding block at a reasonable price. My only complaint is that it's easy to accidentally use the wrong side if you're in a hurry. On the positive side 2-in-1 is much cheaper than buying separate sanding blocks.

Need oiling for wet sanding

I use this tool for wet sanding, but it's raw wood so I had to protect it. I applied tung oil on it (fair amount and 7, 8 coatings) and now it's good for wet sanding. Tool is great, but rather expensive.

Was hab ich mich davor als gequält

Den richtigen Radius aufs Griffbrett zu bekommen, ist Gefühl wie eine Doktorarbeit. Wenn man dann noch zwei Radien braucht, um eine Compound-Wölbung hinzubekommen, hat man komplett verloren - doch et voilà - damit gehts ganz easy. Es gibt zwei sanding Blocks von Hosco - am besten gleich beide nehmen und freuen. Die kleineren Radien für die E-Gitarren, 10&12" für die akustischen/klassischen Gitarren. Wunderbarer Helfer - nicht ganz billig, aber absolut brauchbar.

P.S. als Schleifpapier tuts eine rolle vom Baumarkt mit 80/120/160 er Körnung - dafür braucht man nicht die originalen nehmen. Die Rollenbreiten sind auch meist bei 10-12cm, was perfekt reicht, um die Schleiffläche zu bedecken, und seitlich noch genug da ist, um "Grip" zu haben.
