No need for an original Klon for twice the price.
This pedal is really good as the sound is not really different from the original Klon. It has a teeny bit more bass, but the tone control can manage that.
I have found no need to buy the costly Klon, as this does almost the same as the Klon and packs the same "magic".
I'm really pleased with the Archer.

What a pedal!
Everything i hoped. I highly recommend this pedal.
Pros:
Easy and simple controls.
Perfect for bringing that mellow dirt even @ bedroom level.
Perfect clean boost also with the gain knob turned down.
One of those products that make guitar playing alot more fun.
cons:
No silicon/rubber spots you usually glue to the bottom included.
Not a biblical, end of the world scenario, but still.

A great sounding overdrive
Leaving out the comparisons with the other mythical pedal aside, this is a great sounding overdrive that adds this "breaking point" characteristics to a set up without modifying much the tone of the guitar and amp (just a bit of compression maybe).
I hear a lot more clarity when this is engaged and for a few months have been on almost the entire time on my pedalboard.
Build quality is great and the detail of having the input/output jacks in the back to me is great since it saves some space in the board.
I can definitely recommend it, I'm enjoying it a lot.

Nice Klon style pedal
I've only tried one other klon style pedal, and I prefer this Archer over it. It's solidly built and gives a nice range of tone adjustment along with a satisfying overdrive tone. I tend to play at lower volumes, looking for a nice mild breakup or bit of texture on my tone and this does the job very nicely. If you're looking for nice blues style overdrive, or a klon style of sound, then this is definitely a pedal worth checking out.

Very happy
I waiting for this pedal too long to become "in stock" I ordered when it without shipping costs thanks to the amazing thomann <3
As for the pedal, it is what I expected a remarkable booster and nice overdrive in front of my marshall sv20, for the quality of construction there were no words ...

Low gain overdrive
Used with Les Paul into Hiwatt DR504. I wanted a low gain crunch to drive my Hiwatt which is a very clean amp for rythmn parts. The low gain break-up was not smooth enough for me, however the higher gain end of the pedal sounded fantastic for lead sounds. I then used it on my 1980 Marshall JMP which has a natural break-up it sounded great. The pedal Sound very open and the individual strings come though clearly. I will give it a high Rating because it is excellently built, and would Sound great with an amp that is breaking up already. I have returned it and bought a Fulltone OCD which works better on my set up.

Honest tone and versatile
Very pleased with this pedal as have been searching for the right one for a while and too often disappointed. Crunch and break-up drive seems to work best at mid gain levels with single coils but a lovely mellow smooth distortion tone kicks in at higher gain levels with humbuckers. Works brilliantly as a straight boost pedal too.

Rockett Archer vs. Klon KTR and Rockett Ikon
The Archer is close to the Ikon which is close to the Klon KTR. The Archer is a bit sharper sounding than the Ikon which is a little sharper than the Klon KTR. The diffrence is subtle and cannot be equalised with the controls. I could not make out the difference when all three were connected via a GigRig Midi8, but I could discern between them only using cables to connect directly to the amp, one at a time. So it depends on your rig if you will hear a difference. Get one of the Archers if you cannot get the Klon!

You don't need a Klon
This pedal gives a very well-balanced distortion and pleasant tone. It's like a creamy satisfying sound that makes you want to keep playing guitar.
