Jaspers stands are as solid as you can get, but the extra insurance these clamps give you when placing large or heavy keyboards on a tier is invaluable.

I was slightly disappointed that my 4R-150B didn't come with these as standard on the lowest tier, but at less than £6 for a pair, it was hardly bank-breaking to add these on for my own piece of mind.
