I bought this as I am studying music theory and don't always have manuscript paper with me to practice.
So I thought this would be ideal. Its very handy and the lines produced are good, though they could be slightly wider. I am pleased with my purchase.

Great teaching aid!

This is a brilliant idea/tool for teachers who occasionally need to scribble instructional material on plain paper etc. I'm hoping they'll do a tab version.

Good idea

It's very cool and practical if you want to write music and don't have a music sheet lying around near by, but it came in a poor-condition old box. You also need to practise with it! Other than that, great!

Useful tool for music teaching
h1120 24.07.2014
The Noligraph is very easy to use and very convenient for music teacher. It is very easy to understand that we may sometime need to jot down notes for our students. The design was really good. However, it is not as easy to use as we think. It is quite hard to get all the 5 pens to work together. You do need to make some effort to practice on controlling the pens in order to get a perfect staff. Anyway, it is still a very good and worth buying product.

Introduction
This seemed like a very good idea. I often want to write music on plain paper when I am out. Now I can write a stave or three on any paper, in theory.

Rationale
In practise the pens tend to miss a top or bottom line. It is not easy to maintain consistent pressure with five pens. It helps to wipe the pen tips before use. I use an A5 drawing book which also helps

Conclusion
Overall the pens are good enough for rough work which is all I need.
