Nice gate for the money
I tried Flamma noise gate before buying this one and I can say that joyo is much better. There is still a little lack of gate closing speed, but already this speed suits me. Maybe I should try TC's Iron Curtain, but I don't want to experiment anymore. By the way, I bought this gate to play with heavy distortion - I have two guitars - a legator n8fp with original pickups and a fender player tele with a dimarzio fast track in the bridge - I have the gate at the beginning of my pedalboard - the trashhold is set to 15 o'clock and the output signal both guitars are enough to break through the gate and at the same time not go out abruptly on fading notes.

Happy with it
I use single coil pickups through tube amps and my guitars tend to be pretty noisy ( and yeah I have gone through and checked all my grounds and tried to do the usual things to ameliorate it but...). This pedal works pretty well to alleviate all the ground hum when my fingers leave the fret board or bridge. Was able to set it at the right threshold and doesn't cut off notes. Happy enough for the price....
