I used it with tonedexter so it sounded amazing, it so easy to install it and I was pleased with the sound but KnK has better quality for a price.

Ich habe den FanTaStick in meine Martin Backpacker eingebaut und bin damit sehr zufrieden. Einzig die tiefe E kommt nicht so gut durch, was sicher in erster Linie an der Bauart der Gitarre liegt. Der Einbau war recht unkompliziert, obwohl es mein erster war. Habe auch zum ersten mal Löten müssen...hat bestens geklappt. Einzig das schleifen des Steges war doch recht mühselig und verlangt Geduld und Genauigkeit. Er muss halt Plan sein sonst wird der Druck nicht gleichmäßig auf den Piezo verteilt.

Habe seit 1989 eine Lakewood D32 mit dem FanTaStick. Der ideale Piezo für dynamische Westerngitarren und Spielweisen. Sehr neutraler Sound, recht hoher Output. Sehr ausbanlanciert.
Hatte seit einem Jahr das Gefühl, dass der Sound dünner wurde. Für mich gibt es keinen Anlass einen anderen Tonabnehmer einzubauen. Der neue FanTaStick hatte besser abgeschirmte Kabel. Der Sound ist nun wieder der Alte! Lt. Hersteller sind die Kristalle an der Unterseite, und nicht wie üblich auf der Oberseite angebracht. Daher soll mehr Klang vom Body mitkommen. Zusammengefasst: Meine Empfehlung. Ein spitzen Piezo Tonabnehmer für Westerngitarren zum kleinen Preis.
