Cheap, Cheerful and Effective!
Anonymous 27.02.2017
I bought this stand as my MIDI Keyboard doesn't feature a music stand and there is no space in my small project studio to fit a traditional tripod based music stand.

I place this stand on the upper control section of the Keyboard and balance it in this small real estate using the weight of the music as a counterbalance. It does the job admirably and has solved the issue of where to put music scores.

I'd imagine it would do an even better job on a flat stable surface.

You do need to be careful when setting it up as the vertical metal leg holding the Uniboy up can slip out of it's metal slot while you fiddle with the stand without you noticing. This leads to a sudden collapse of the stand and your music. However, once it's in the slot and setup correctly the weight of the music holds it in place.

Pros
Very simple and effective design.
The price is outstanding.
Once setup properly will hold the music securely.

Cons
Will struggle with very thick books.
No colour choice.

Un petit accessoire bien pratique
numero66 22.03.2021

Cheap feeling but does the job pretty good
ayyyy lmao 06.02.2021
The stand was a bit smaller than expected but so far it hold even huge books with no problem. The handle that is supposed to hold the pages open works well and stays firm, however i'm curious to see if the same stiffness stays over time. All in all a pretty solid product.

Good for the price.

Probably a little unfair, but the Support is a bit low for A4 meaning you need to prop loose pages with card.
You could argue I bought the wrong product.

You'd be right.

Good for holding a tablet/pad
Anonymous 18.12.2014
I purchased a number of these and 'book' ones for pupils to use on desks.

They are great for thinner books and sheets, as well as tablets/pads.

They do not cope very well with larger music books (they become unstable) or thick books (struggles to keep the book open).

Very handy and cheap enough!

A very handy gadget

It provides a good table support for single/double A4 score sheet or books that are stapled together rather than glued. For glued books the front support is not strong enough to hold pages in place (without additional support).
