Reasonable value, but flawed design
The arm itself works like expected. It's a no-frills product but with some design flaws that you should be aware of.
1) Depending on your mic the mounting can be a little difficult. The top of the arm my conflict with the XLR-plug and/or FedHead, depending on what mic you use and how mount it.
2) The clamp need a solid table with a square profile.
3) The included cable is of abyssmally poor quality. Like: It sucks. It's seemingly totally unshielded and picks up *any* hum there might be. Even touching it results in hum, especially with a dynamic mic. Any cheap-ass shielded cable is way better.
Unfortunately you can't change it. You have to cut it and get rid of it and mount a shielded cable on the outside of the arm which kind of defeats the purpose. Unless you record inside a Faraday cage this cable could be a dealbreaker for you.
Next time I'll def go for a more expensive product with a better cable.
