Sturdy and safe

Will take the weight of an NT2A mic. Would have preferred it to have an arm that popped out, so i could rec piano and voc at same time (stand sits bit too far from vox, behind the keys), but perfect for mounting a mic screen.

Just a tip: a thread adapter should be provided since the screw type is not clear in the product description or datasheet.

Nice quality stand

Nice and sturdy stand. It's a quality stand the handles and looks good. The only downside is the plastic handle which seems a bit cheap

O
Useful in tight spaces
OriginalMarkyT 06.06.2018
We use these stands for overhead condenser mics on the church drum kit. They are easier to find space for amongst the drum kit than a stand with a tripod base. We have added a telescopic boom, however they are not weighty enough to support anything other than a pencil condenser mic at full stretch. A failing of our adaptation not the mic stand. The build quality is to the usual high K&M standard with a 5 year warranty.

LM
K&M 260 Mic Stand Review
Le Monk 14.01.2014
I am very happy with this "retro style" mic stand that I ordered at a very good price from Thomann. As always with K&M the quality of the mic stand is top notch. The stand is sterdy, yet not too heavy. It has worked well in a number of different recording situations. Height adjustment of the stand is easy using the standard grip and the included clamp for holding the mic cable to the stand is an added plus. Allover I would say this stand is a nice alternative to the three legged type. In some situations, when space is tight, it could even be preferred, due to the rather small foot print of the round base plate.

B
Functional mic stand - good value
Brian449 20.08.2015
I bought this for my girlfriend (now wife) for our vintage jazz duo (guitar and vocals.) She uses it with her vintage Sure 'Elvis' Mic. It works absolutely fine. If I use it when playing my guitar, I have to be careful as the upright can get in the way. You need a boom if you are singing with an instrument. Also, it is not a stable as some. That said, for a vocalist only, it works fine, suits a vintage mic and doesn't cost much.

Great stand
l392685 09.07.2018
I bought one of this for my vocal mic and SE reflexion filter. It can handle them easily. The foot is quite heavy, but if you move around it I would suggest putting some additional weigh on it just to be sure not to let it fall. It is build very well and it looks like it is going to last for a while.
Will buy another one in the future.

A
Singer likes it
Anonymous 03.05.2016
Singer was had the '3 leg' variety of mic stands and he has a habit of resting his foot on one of the legs, bending it. Eventually, it becomes wobbly.

This heavy, round base means that's not an issue any more and take up less room on stage, which is great.
