Great piece of gear!
If you think you only needed the Minilogue you are really missing out on the Monologue.
It is a great companion for the Minilogue and it has it's own special place in my studio.
The sound sculpting capabilities are as easy as the Minilogue, but this one is espcially dedicated to making really great leads and bass sounds.
It has a really great sound and feels like I discover something new about it with every use.
A must have for beginners or pro-synth users.

Great little synthesizer
A great synth with possibilities many other synths don't offer - like microtuning and extremely fast LFO (reasons I bought it).
Chaning some parameters sometimes requires to dig into menus hidden behind sequencer buttons. A bit uncomfortable in the beginning.
There's one thing which should be pointed out when buying this synth - it comes without power adapter. Thomann should sell it as a kit with a suitable one (took me quite a while to figure out which one would fit best).

My first analog synth
It is my very first experience with mono synths but the KORG proofed itself a very solid choice.
In terms of features I am still exploring but I like what I have seen so far, endless possibilities of patch creation.
The build quality is very good, it doesn't feel cheap at all.
Weight and size are very comfortable and allow you to get really portable.
I just would like it to have the power cord included, however I purchased aware of it.

BASS, how low can you go..
It's a great synthfor learning synthesis, but not 'just for beginners' by any stretch of the imagination. It's battery powered, so it's great for making music wherever you like. As mentioned elsewhere, ypu will need to source a power supply yourself if you are not comfortable with the 'battery only' idea. That's the only negative thing I can find to say about it.. Cos it sounds awesome! The keys are not full size, but then neither are my keyboard playing skills, so that's totally not an issue. (It's a mono synth anyway, so fancy chord work is not an option)

THAT sound!
Very well made, awesome sound, a bit limited modulation options. Conclusion: would buy it again. Twice.

A must have analog synth
If you love analog, you're in a low budget, and want the best for the right price than you should consider the Monologue by Korg.
Great sound, great sequencer and very nice looking analog synthesiser.
