Wunderbare Sounds

Natürlich reichen die Sounds nicht ganz an das Korg Kronos ran, sind aber für diesen Preis auf jeden Fall sehr gelungen.

Einen Stern minus gibt es, da man, um die Sounds per PC zu verwalten, sich noch den PA-Manager kaufen müsste, und auch runtergeladene Sounds für die PA-Serie (z.B. fürs PA3X) nicht installierbar sind.
Allerdings sind einige Banken vom Triton frei von der Korg Seite runterzuladen. Durch die begrenzten User-Bänke sind nur maximal 2 von den Triton Banken gleichzeitig im Pa600 installierbar. Dies geht aber zum Glück auch ohne den PA-Manager.

Eine weitere positiv zu vermerkende Funktion ist die Verwaltung von mehreren Sets über den Touchscreen, was besonders beim Band-Betrieb sehr sinnvoll ist, so kann man schnell zwischen den Komplett-Einstellungen wechseln. Es sind bis zu 4 Instrumente gleichzeitig spielbar, wobei das 4. nur als Split-Sound zu spielen geht und in der Voreinstellung den Grundton des Akkordes im Bass mitspielt. Dies muss jedes mal beim Wechseln in den split-Modus deaktiviert werden - oder man mutet den Bass in der Auswahl für die Begleitinstrumente.
Die anderen 3 Instrumente sind frei konfigurierbar, man kann Grenzen für sie festlegen, Oktavlage, Lautstärke etc...

Die Instrumente sind in einem eigenem Modus frei editierbar, man kann Hüllkurve, cutoff und viele andere Parameter einstellen und jede Menge Oszillatoren (bis zu 8 oder evtl. sogar mehr) pro Instrument programmieren.
Hier noch ein Manko: Durch den Touchscreen ist der Wechsel zwischen den Oszillatoren manchmal schwer zu bedienen, da der Bildschirm nicht immer reagiert.
Pro Oszillator kann man zwei Waveforms aus einer Auswahl von rund 600 Waveforms wählen, wobei allerdings auch einige waveforms für Effekte wie Pedalklang oder bestimmte Sounds, die bei Bass oder Gitarre auftreten können, vorhanden sind.

Die Aufnahmemöglickeiten von eigenen Songs sind sehr begrenzt und teilweise nicht ganz intiutiv. Eigene Styles zu erstellen ist einfacher. Allerdings ist das Bearbeiten aufgenommener Spuren sehr schwer zu verstehen.
Zum Glück gibt es eine sehr ausführliche Bedienungsanleitung in englisch auf der Herstellerseite, nur nicht auf den ersten Blick dort zu finden.

Das Songbook habe ich noch nicht ausprobiert, kann also dazu nichts sagen.

Trotz einigen der angesprochenen Mankos (derentwegen ich mir wahrscheinlich doch mal irgendwann ein Kronos oder zumindest Krome zulegen werde) leistet mir das Pa600 gute Dienste in meiner Band und wird mich wahrscheinlich so schnell nicht verlassen.

apropros live-Einsatz: Der Ausgang des Pa600 (zwei mal Mono-Klinke) ist je nach Instrument manchmal sehr leise und manchmal sehr laut. Deswegen muss ich meinen Monitor auch immer manuell während des Auftrittes nachregeln, da eine grundlegende Einstellung an manchen Stellen zu laut oder zu leise ist. Das Keyboard hat zwar einen eingebauten Kompressor, doch dieser kommt nicht gut mit Übersteuerungen klar und zerrt dann gerne... Auf jeden Fall sind diese Pegel immer wieder eine Herausforderung für die Tontechniker.

Peu de limites à cet arrangeur

J'utilise ce produit en tant qu'équivalent-clavier à des enregistrements de guitare midi via un Roland GR 20 et divers logiciels (Reaper, Bad in a Box, Acid, FL Studio, Live..).
Ce produit était livré (08/2020) avec un DVD et un manuel de référence datant de l'ancienne version de son O.S. (1.0) mais avec dans la machine l'OS le plus récent (2.1). Un petit temps pour s'y retrouver d'autant que l'importateur français renvoie pour toutes questions sur Korg Allemagne au motif que ce matériel est fourni par Thomann, entreprise allemande. Le site Korg.com fournit heureusement toutes les docs à jour (manuel de référence 2.1...)ainsi qu'une phlétore de supports, styles complémentaires, logiciel de gestion des Songs... en complément des vidéos en français (trouvées sur you tube) et d'une prise en main très claire, également en Français. Le manuel de référence est seulement en anglais, mais sans ce dernier l'on peut très facilement maîtriser cet arrangeur.
J'ai été époustouflé par les possibilités de ce Korg, dont le séquenceur dispense d'utiliser des séquenceurs logiciels externes (il permet notamment de nombreux effets entièrement paramétrables très simplement, le sampling...), et s'avère d'autre part assez proche de logiciels comme Band in a Box. Je pense par exemple aux possibilités au niveau de l'entrée des accords .La synthèse de ces deux approches donne un produit extrèmement complet qui se suffit à lui-même, sans avoir besoin d'un recours à l'ordinateur ; ceci suite au chargement des fichiers (Midi SMF, Kar, MP3) possible sur clé USB.Les styles Korg téléchargeables gratuitement sont une réelle plus-value, cet arrangeur s'adaptant même à des styles Korg destinés à d'autres machines de la marque. L'écran de contrôle tactile de bonne dimension et sa résolution est un bonheur pour changer une valeur, déplacer un curseur...Une légère réserve pour le toucher clavier peut-être légèrement inférieur à celui de mon keystation M-Audio mais c'est une opinion très personnelle. Les menus sont très bien pensés, avec beaucoup de garde-fous pour éviter les mauvaises manipulations. Le son ne sonne pas du tout "plastique". J'hésitais entre ce produit et un PA 300 présenté comme "presque identique" sur le Web,mais la différence de prix est totalement justifiée (écran + grand, son encore meilleur car ampli plus dimensionné). Je suis très satisfait de ce produit au quotidien et le recommande vivement.

Hace casi un mes que me llego el piano y estoy bastante contento con el, buen sonido ya que tiene el mismo motor de sonidos que el Korg Pa3x con 96MB de Ram para instalar samples (tonos reales en formato kmp,vaw) con multitud de opciones de editar sonidos y guardarlos en una memoria externa o en la misma que tiene el piano que es de 1GB si eres de los que guardan multitud de ritmos y canciones mp3 tal vez te quede corta pero no seria un problema teniendo en cuenta que dispone de un puerto usb.

Con respecto a Thoman como siempre el envió muy rápido con opción de seguimiento y el material llego en perfectas condiciones, en un futuro no dudaría en volver a comprar de esta pagina
