La Bella what is there to say, excellence. The best flat wound on the market, I put these on my Sadowsky NYC and they are KILLING, even the gauge is perfect. The only string IMHO better was R.Cocco but Thomann stopped carrying them.

If I die and go to heaven, I hope that all the bass guitars there are strung with La Bella's Deep Talking Bass Strings. I have turned many of my friends to these, none has ever looked back.

Absolutely amazing

I never used before flat-wound strings and decided try La Bella.
La Bella didn't' disappoint me. Instead Im hooked up now to use only them. Great sound quality and very nice soft feel. Easy to play with them.

Das war wohl nichts... - revidiert!

Diese hochgelobten Saiten haben leider enttäuscht.
Das absolute "no go" war daß die H-Saite tot aus der Verpackung kam.
Kein Sustain, keine Obertöne, nur ein dumpfes Geräusch...
Des weiteren ist der Satz klanglich nicht ausgewogen - G-Saite zu laut.
Das Spielgefühl geht verglichen mit den Fender Saiten eher in Richtung
Gummiband - gar nicht so schlecht...Ich würde etwas mehr Zug bevorzugen...
Und die Saiten sind teilweise angekratzt...
Durchgefallen.

Nachtrag: Die "tote" H-Saite wurde von Thomann ersetzt - Besten Dank!!
Ich dachte, Flatwounds gibt's nicht einzeln - anscheinend doch.
Nun hatte ich aus Verzweiflung noch den 5er GHS-Satz bestellt und konnte vergleichen. Poschmann's Bonedo-Saitentest trifft es schon ziemlich gut - "sensationelle Haptik" der Labellas ist
nicht übertrieben. Sie spielen sich weicher und klingen irgendwie immer besser...
Geduld ist eine Tugend...
Wenn die neue H-Saite schwingt und klingt, werde ich wohl bei Labella bleiben.
