I'm very satisfied with the Legere Signature reed for alto sax. It sounds nice and plays easily throughout the entire range of the instrument. Although I'm a beginner sax player, I've played the piano for a long time and I have excellent ears, so I have a pretty good idea of how I'd like to sound when I play the saxophone. The Legere Signature reed satisfies more my ears than the average cane reed I've tried so far. I play with an Yamaha 4C mouthpiece.
