High quality strap

This is a great strap made of high-quality fine leather and strong nylon. It is, however not as long or wide as advertised.

Total lenght: 107cm - 140cm
Hole to hole: 104cm - 137cm
maximum width: 83mm
nylon width: 40mm
Max thickness: 11mm
cushion thickness: 9mm
total Leather part length: 60cm
cushioned part length: 48cm

These measurements are taken on my strap, I'm not sure how much they can vary from strap to strap, but I wouldn't expect much difference.
The cushion is quite stiff but very comfortable. The leather is thin and very pleasant to the touch. The adjustment system seems to work well but I can't say more about it as I only use the strap at full length.
Takes Schaller strap locks pretty easily.
Clear recommendation, even though the size is not quite as advertised.

Too short padded length..

The strap have a good width, is nicely padded and seems to be of good quality. The issue I have with this strap is the length of the padded area. When adjusting the strap to suit my guitar, the padded area of the strap stops right after the top of my shoulder. Due to this the plastic adjustment on the nylon part of the strap is sticking into my back/shoulder. Had the padded part of the strap been a bit longer there would have not been a problem, but as it is now the strap is very uncomfortable. It's a shame, because if I adjust the strap a bit shorter so the padded part is going further down over my shoulder the strap is very comfortable. For me this is not an option as the guitar is to high up for my liking. I think the regular padded Levys strap without the right height system would be a better alternative if you are about 180cm high.

Ich hatte mir 4 Gurte zur Auswahl schicken lassen:
- Richter Slim Deluxe Buffalo Black
- Levys Garment Leather Strap 3" BK
- Höfner H65/74 Leather Strap
- Levys Leather Strap 3,5" BLK R
und diesen „Levys Leather Strap 3,5" BLK R“ empfand ich als am besten. Haptisch sehr schön (sehr weich), gut verarbeitet und hat auch einen schönen Ledergeruch. Das Verstellsystem geht schnell und problemlos. Allerdings hätte die Schlaufe etwas schöner ausfallen können z.B. Metall statt Kunststoff, und wenn das Material des Verstellsystems noch Leder wäre, dann wäre das sicher der perfekt Gurt. Den „Höfner H65/74 Leather Strap“ habe ich übrigens an meiner Zweitgitarre, auch sehr schön! Ach ja, Rückversand war wie gewohnt problemlos!

Tracolla in pelle di ottima fattura con larghezza adatta a strumenti anche molto pesanti. il sistema di regolazione innovativo la rende per me indispensabile per adattarsi facilmente a tutte le situazioni di altezza dello strumento. Decisamente la tracolla più ergonomica che abbia utilizzato.
