Buy as many as you can fit in the peli
Just bought my 3rd 4th and 5th. These things can get you out of a lot of sticky situations, but most importantly they've allowed me to eliminate all stands on the drum kit. With these, pluss a couple a56d's i can have a full 12 channel drum patch with no stands needed.
This is great for quick turnarounds as a touring engineer as the kit just has to be set up, and all mics are already pre clamped perfectly in place, just plug and go. Then when the show is over, just pull all cables and the kit can get lifted off.
Also useful in weird situations, need to get two cats over the stage access with no cable ramp? Clamp them up high and use them as 'hooks', taping the cables onto them.
The price has gone up by £10 since i bought the first two. Not a deal breaker but not ideal.
Overall id suggest investing in a pair, You'll love what they allow you to do.

I use it for kick
Excellent mic claw for congas, or - if you are like me - for kick.
Too bad there is no version with a flat clamp, this way I have to protect the kick drum hoop with layers of gaff tape before I hook up the LP claw - since it has a profile suited for conga rims.
Threads are good, screws too, will hold place during the gig, no problem!

Swiss Army knife mic clamp
Don’t be fooled by the original design of this clamp being made for percussion, this thing clamps great onto flat surfaces for wireless paddles etc. fantastic device

Essential piece of kit
I have a pathological hatred of having too many microphone stands on stage if I can avoid it and these solve almost any problems with drums other than the drummer staying sober or keeping in time, although I have yet to try inserting one into the drummer to solve these too...

Super handig
Iets duurdere mic clamps, maar zijn geld meer dan waard;
-Stevig gemaakt
-Zeer flexibel, kantel en draai-baar
-goede grip op vele materialen vooral bij drum statieven
minpuntje: gaat niet ver genoeg open/bek is voorzien voor smalle buizen

Perfect clamp for miking under hat's, cymbals and percussion.
Would highly recommend any audio engineer to have a few in his tool bag! Makes for a nice clean stage with the need for little to no clamps on a drum kit.
The arm is fully rotateable 360 which I couldn't tell from initial purchase description.

Does the job perfectly
I use this to mic the kick drum on stages where space is tight. It has worked perfectly every time I've needed it, and is a lot more compact than a mic stand!
The build etc feels very solid, and I expect this will last many more festivals to come.

great all-around mic holder
LP Claw is a great product that helps you mic literally everything: you can use it with drums, percussion, cymbals, guitar cabinets etc.
I use LP Claws for my snare drum & bass drum, it allows me to position mic's in a right way & be sure that mic's will be at their places during the performance.
You can get rid of all microphone stands on stage with these clamps.
Build quality is great, it can last for years
One small thing about this clamp - you need mic holder with 5/8" threads

Best percussion holder
The LP claw is simply the best most versatile clamp for anything drum/percussion related. You can use it creatively to mount so many percussion instruments, it's the best mic clamp for recording. I can seriously say that if had the money i would buy 20 of these
