Excellent small mixer, good FX, flimsy power supply

There are more expert sound engineers than me who've reviewed this mixer. I bought it with two powered speakers to use with a three-piece combo. I'm very happy with the price-performance ratio -- it made us sound fine. If you have more folks onstage you may want more channels and inputs. Twelve go very fast when everyone's playing and singing, and it's nice to have a slot free in case someone sits in. I knocked off two points for quality because the power source basically fell apart. I put it back together with duct tape, not an ideal solution, because the PS gets hot when it's plugged in for a few hours. I would still buy this mixer again.

for the price for four mics is ok, but i would prefer 2 less stereo but with eq, a proper aux functionality. Also the meter leds should be like the other mackies and instead of fader, a knob would be preferable.
