Quality made affordable
Curiosity and the need of a secondary bass made me buy this guy here. I own a german 1999 Warwick streamer lx 5 strings which is Delicious to my ears and hands.
The Marcus Miller was beautifully set up right out from the box; the neck is so smooth and comfy, the finish and the hard-ware are just excellent.
The sound: Superb! One can play every possible type of music on this guitar. The preamp section is so complex and you can dial in a beautiful sound in seconds. Is sounds so beautiful both active and passive.
The only con here(which is...smallish) : when in single coil mode, you get a broom.
Nice job, Sire!
Later edit: after all you get what you pay for. I ended up playing warwick, MM sounds helpless compared to mid quality warwicks...and it is way too heavy.

huge bang for your buck
I honestly cannot get over how much bass you get for your money with this one. The neck is gorgeous, the preamp is powerful and the overall composition and construction feels like it should cost a lot more than it does.
Definitely needs a set up out of the box and I'll likely swap out the tuners and machine heads in the future.
