For exercise only
I've had the MS-4 for almost a year now. I only use it when I'm alone coz it's distortion is quite weak and its only purpose is for exercising riffs and scales. I can't see myself playing on this thing in front of people coz it's embarrassing. If you want to turn the volume down you lose the gain as if you switched to a clean channel. Not quite practical but it's ok for the price.

Handy, portable amp
To be honest, I expected a better quality from something with "Marshall" engraved on it but otherwise for its price it does the job...If it doesn't malfunction after several uses...

Sub-par compared to others
Compared to other mini-amps, the MS-4 was a bit of a letdown. Clean channel is ok, but overdrive sounds very cheap. The amp has great aesthetics, looks charming and it is light, but sound and feature wise it was very lacking.

Good but not great
I bought this with the idea to use it with my Fender Stratocaster HSS for quiet playing and my Gibson J-45 Standard with Boss RC-500. However I expect more power and if you give more input from the instrument it starts to distort the sound. It could be only me, but I really think this can be done better.

I use this personally for a decorative use on my desktop and sometimes plug my guitar in because the sound isn't that good but that's a given I guess.. looks cool though.
