This guitar is much much more than just a travel guitar. Its a guitar for everything. Once its plugged it has the best sound out there thanks to the amazing Maton pickup.
Handmade, all solid wood, Maton did an amazing job with their mini guitars. Im traveling for gigs all the time and I had to replace my dreadnaught acoustic for this mini Maton . Of course the acoustic sound is not as a full body guitar, but if you care more for the pickup sound than this is not a problem. just check some of the videos on youtube to understand how good it sounds. this guitar is for professionals as well. if you're moving all the time, and performing a lot , that's the guitar for you. Acoustically its very surprising as well. great sound for such a small guitar. Feels great in the hands and very smooth to play on.
Pros: Size, unbelievable pickup, quality
Cons: hard to find a gig bag for it (comes with a hard case)

If you looking for a travel size guitar and don't want to sacrifice sound and tone, the mini maton emd is the way to go. Just save up that money and buy this. Not forgetting that monsterous pickup, it is really amazing.

I had mine refitted with a fmi saddle and bones pin, i've never look back. Go and try one thats is plugged, that tone...

Once you pick up a Maton, you will have a reference to what a guitar should feel and sound like. The Mini Maton is no difference! Naturally, I have two Mini Maton's because they are my favourite acoustics, next to my Gibson L-00 Standard. The pack up system is a class of its own, just amazing! Then there's the craftsmanship, impeccable and beautiful!
However, I prefer mine with Elixir 10/46 but that's just a personal preference...

unbelievable guitar. perfect for professionals who travel a lot.
I fly all the time for gigs and carry the guitar with me on board thanks to its smaller size. plugged, it sound incredible. one of the best pickups out there.
acoustically, sounds amazing as well compared too its small size.
