Pleasant sounding and quiet with low rebound

A very good Reflexx alternative. As a person that has housemates, sound level is important for me and this practice pad is doing very well on that regard. I used "Sabian QT-14SD" as well (it is significantly louder than this one and has more rebound) and I would definitely prefer Meinl Marshmellow over it. I actually like the sound and looks of it as well.

Maybe not worth the 50 euro asking price, but a good buy nonetheless.

I bought this, since I live in a household where even hitting a regular rubber practice pad would get me in trouble after like 3 minutes of using it. It works wonders, but you can do what I did before and achieve the same surface/sound by hitting a orthopedic pillow instead, which would be half the price of this pad, but to the credit of this pad, it has actual rebound unlike the pillow. So this is definitely a niche-scenario buy, but definitely works in my scenario.

The marshmellow 12 pad is very good less bounce than other pads silent its doesn't have a plastic rubber clicky sound it's a low mat sound and the touch is soft not like rubber pads where the bounce is un natural à snare drum doesn't have alot of bounce in the middle well this pad is very realistic best I've found so far the foam is well glued down alot of rubber pads are not? especially in the middle this pad will make you work and the transition to the drums will be easyer because the bounce is not over the top its realistic this will build your finger and wrist muscles the quality is good it will last a while and the prices is not over the top either I don't like cheap pads put the extra euro and be happy with what you paid for in sound and feel
