These hats are LOUD!

Great for guitary rock and metal. They cut through and make ears bleed. There's barely any airlock thanks to the holes in both cymbals and they're great when you trash them to riffs and choruses.

Die Meinl 14" Byzanze Fast Hi-Hat spiele ich seit ca. 2 Jahren als Haupt-Hi Hat wofür sie sich sehr gut eignet obwohl der Klang leicht neben dem "Mainstream" liegt. Gerade das aber macht sie so interessant und weckt die Aufmerksamkeit der Zuhörer, vor allem wenn sich Musiker unter ihnen befinden. Mit dem Stock und geschlossen bespielt liefert das "chicken" ein relativ mittiges, gut definierten Klick ab, was schnelle Figuren erlaubt. Mit dem Fuß in Bewegung versetzt, kommt ein sehr gut hörbares Zipp aus dem Teil, welches sich auch bei höherer Umgebungslautstärke gut durchsetzt. Offen mit dem Stock bespielt kann das Ding richtig böse und metallisch werden. Insgesamt also eine richtig gute Empfehlung für Schlagzeuger, die Vielseitigkeit mit einem extravaganten Charme verbinden wollen.
