They may be not viewed as verstile or normal sized, but they are amazing. They are kind of a niche pick and I like them. Closed, they offer a really "crispy" articulate-ish sound. The subjective advantage to the large diameter of these hi hats is the deep bark and the dense chick sound. When opened, they deliver a sloshy sound that is out of this world (in a good way) i play heavier music and still enjoy their dryness. They even came packaged well, as thomann does every time. In conclusion, i honestly like these hats

Ewig habe ich nach den HiHats gesucht, die einem nicht gleich auf die Nerven gehen! Diese sind perfekt! Schön Trocken, tief und voll im Klang!! Auf den Aufnahmen klingt es klasse und auch in echt einfach nur super! Die Hi-Hat stiehlt den anderen Instrumenten am Drumset einfach nicht die Show, gibt aber Rhythmus und das ist alles was man von einer HIHat erwartet! Für Hardrock würde ich sie jedoch nicht empfehlen da sie sich nicht gegen ein distorted Gitarrenbrett durchsetzen wird. Für alles andere (Country, Pop, Soft Rock, Contemporary etc.) ist sie aber super und sollte auf jedem Fall im Lager bei einem jeden Drummer oder Studio sein!
