Habe vorher hauptsächlich Vic Virth 7A gespielt, mir gefallen die Meinl 7A Standard allerdings besser, da sie etwas länger sind und sich gut kontrollieren lassen. Sie sind jetzt nicht bemerkenswert lange haltbar oder ähnliches, aber auf jeden Fall ein sehr guter Stock ! Das einzige was ich an der Verarbeitung bemängeln kann ist, dass sie hinten am Stockende nicht so schön glatt sind, wie die Vic Virth's aber das ist glaube ich auch Gewohnheitssache.

Ich hab die Meinl 7A Sticks gekauft weil ich eine alternative zu 5A Sticks gesucht habe. Normale 7A sind immer etwas kürzer als Standard 5A nur die Meinl nicht. Meine 7A Alternative waren immer die Vater Manhattan da diese ebenfalls länger sind.
Aber Meinl hat mit den Sticks echt ein Top Produkt geliefert ich bin überzeugt. Liegen gut in der Hand, haben ein tolles Spielgefühl und ne tolle Balance.

Kann die Stöcke nur empfehlen!

Ich liebe diese Sticks. Das erste mal bin ich in meinem örtlichen Musikladen über sie gestolpert, und weil ich derzeit meinen Kopf in die Welt des Jazz gesteckt hab, hab ich sie gekauft. Ab diesem Moment war ich verliebt.

Die Stöcke sind angenehm leicht und (für meinen Geschmack) großartig ausbalanciert. Aber, anders als man bei den relativ schlanken Stöckchen erwarten würde, sind sie unfassbar stabil! Zwar nutzen sie sich durchaus ab, aber es ist mir nach einem Jahr aktiv diese Sticks spielen noch nie untergekommen, dass einer durchbrach (nur einer hatte einen unrettbaren Riss).
Das ist durchaus beeindruckend, da ich diese Sticks auch öfters für Metal oder Punk verwende.

Also, Fazit: großartige Stick für jeden der etwas leichteres als die klassischen 5A's sucht. Gute Verarbeitung, klasse Spielgefühl und außerordentliche haltbarkeit!
